Voloshyn Gallery was created in in October 2016. The art venue showcases a broad range of media in contemporary art and hosts individual and group exhibitions.
Voloshyn Gallery promotes integration of the Ukrainian art into the global cultural processes. It also represents the artists at international art fairs and art projects throughout Europe and the USA.
Voloshyn Gallery aims to discover exceptional phenomena in art, to present young artists at the starting points of their careers as well as to support the experienced masters who have already found their own expressive style but do not stop at what they have achieved and stay strong in pursuit of their goals.
The Gallery space is modernly equipped. It is located in the cultural and historical centre of Kyiv – Tereshchenkivska Street in a historical building founded by a renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist N.A. Tereshchenko in 1913.
The collector and philanthropist Bohdan Khanenko bought the building for his wife Varvara and renovated it as a revenue house. The second floor was envisioned as an exhibition and storage space for the expanding Khanenko Museum of Fine Arts.
Maksym and Yuliya Voloshyn have been active in the art business since 2006. The Mystetska Zbirka Art Gallery was their first gallery specializing in classical and post-war 20th century Ukrainian art.
